Average Sales Price Increase

Just the facts, in my opinion

In market news:
- Single-family home inventory rose from 347 to 405, which is still anemic. This should be closer to 6,000
- Days on market for March were at 19 days, down from 25 in February. March 2021 was at 35 days for comparison.
- Average sales price for March was 839K, up from 773K in February. March 2021 was at 629K.
- Median sales price for March was 570K, up from 544K in February. March 2021 was at 475K.
- Sales pace is slower again. 14% down from March 2021 and 14% lower in total for the year so far compared to 2021. This slower pace has been the trend since July 2021.
- March also saw the sales price exceed the asking price at 100.8% of the list price
